Alleged Elvis Lovechild Holds Vigil For ‘Dad’Wireless Flash News Service

August 16 is the 31st anniversary of Elvis' death, and to commemorate the big day, Peter Vallee -- a 400-pound Elvis impersonator who claims to be The King's king-sized son -- is holding a vigil outside The Las Vegas Hilton where fans can pay their respects to the rock 'n' roll icon. After the vigil, Vallee, known as Big Elvis, will perform three shows and take requests from the crowd, singing hits like "Suspicious Minds." He feels it's his duty to honor the man who may be his father. Vallee's mom once claimed he was the offspring of a brief affair she had with Elvis back in 1964, but he hasn't been able to get DNA tests done to prove it. He's always felt a "special bond" with Elvis, perhaps due to them being father and son, and enjoys emulating him. If fans wish to celebrate Elvis this weekend, Vallee suggests they visit conventions, crank up his music, and eat The King's favorite foods. Did you enjoy this article?
